8 Night – Kenya Wildlife Safari

Day 1 – Sarova Panafric

Transfer – Nairobi Airport to Nairobi downtown Hotel : Meet and greet at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi and transfer to downtown Hotel. Can take up to 90 minutes depending on hotel location and traffic conditions.

Sarova Panafric Hotel Nairobi – Sarova Panafric has 162 rooms, 4 themed suites, 3 studio suites as well as 42 fully furnished and serviced apartments. All rooms are stylishly furnished and equipped with modern first class hotel facilities. All rooms have wireless internet, direct dial phones and satellite TV. Flame Tree restaurant is the popular multi-cuisine restaurant adjoining a full service bar. The Pool Garden restaurant serves light meals in a garden setting by the pool side. Day 2 – Safari, Masai Mara, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru & Sarova Lion Hill Lodge

Nairobi to Nakuru Morning Departure : Leave Nairobi after breakfast for the 2h30 drive on good tarmac roads down into the Rift Valley and then continue into Lake Nakuru National Park, best known for its flocks of pink Flamingo. The park is rich in other bird life and home to many animals including Waterbuck, Warthog, Lion & Leopard, and is also a thriving White Rhino sanctuary.

KWS Park Entrance Fees – Masai Mara, Amboseli & Lake Nakuru : Park Entrance Fees are charged per 24 hour period or part thereof so, if you arrive in the morning but only leave in the afternoon of the next day, you will be expected to pay for another 24 hours! Category includes Amboseli, Lake Nakuru & the Transmara & Narok areas of the Masai Mara Reserve.

Sarova Lion Hill Lodge – Sarova Lion Hill is situated in the heart of the Rift Valley, the Lake Nakuru Park is home to one of the most amazing ornithological spectacles in the world, the flight of the flamingos! Just two hour’s drive from Nairobi. The lodge is one of only two situated within the park. Each of the 67 chalets are equipped with modern conveniences and have an astounding view of the pink rimmed lake and silhouetted hills beyond. Guests can enjoy country style dining at the flamingo restaurant; or under one of the beautiful acacia trees where one can dine with an unobstructed view of the lake. The rift valley bar is just the right spot for that magical sundowner. Cultural dancers delight with their enchanting dancing every night. An inviting swimming pool & sauna facilities are available. Day 3 & 4 – Safari, Samburu, Shaba, Buffalo Springs & Sarova Shaba Lodge

Sarova Shaba Lodge – Sarova Shaba Game Lodge is located in a natural oasis in the heart of the Shaba Game Reserve or Born Free Country that Joy and George Adamson called home for many years. The lodge is 314 km from Nairobi, a 45 minute flight from Nairobi to Shaba or Samburu airstrip or a picturesque 5 hour drive through the curving roads around Mt. Kenya crossing the equator at Nanyuki. It is set along the bank of the Ewaso Nyiro River laid out around the natural springs that flow into the river. The Lodge has a virtual mini forest of indigenous trees, a fish pond and a large free form swimming pool. Accommodation options include a presidential suite, 4 executive suites, and 80 standard rooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. The rooms are chalet style, on two storey thatched roof wooden structures. In addition, there is the main restaurant, bar, a pool bar at the swimming pool, and numerous bush and alfresco dining options. Day 5 – Safari, Mount Kenya & Serena Mountain Lodge

Serena Mountain Lodge – Serenas Mountain Lodge is the only tree lodge with direct access. Each of the tastefully decorated and recently refurbished rooms has en suite facilities, and all have a view of the waterhole below. Regrettably no children under 7 yrs of age.

Day 6 to 8 – Safari, Masai Mara, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru & Sarova Mara Camp

Sarova Mara Camp – Sarova Mara Game Camp is located in the heart of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve in South West Kenya. It is 260 km from Nairobi, a 1 hour flight from Nairobi, 20 minute drive from the airstrip and a 5 ½ hours drive from Nairobi on the new tarmac road. It is set on an elevation surrounded by two streams. The Camp is uniquely laid out over the sprawling grounds that include rolling manicured greens, a virtual mini forest of indigenous shrubs and exotic trees, a large pond stocked with fish, mini bird sanctuary and an authentic Maasai village adjoining the Camp. The Camp includes 20 club tents, 51 standard tents, 2 family tents, a main restaurant, bar and many bush dining options. The free form swimming pool has its own pool bar. In addition, it has its own fleet of well-equipped safari vehicles with excellent guides.
