10-day Namibia circle (FIT Guided or Self Drive)
Day 1 – Windhoek
Arrive at Windhoek International Airport, Namibia where your English speaking guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your accommodation outside Windhoek. In the afternoon, guests can take a trip into the city of Windhoek (the capital of Namibia) and visit sites such as Tintenpalast, Christus Kirche and Alte Feste.

River Crossing is 3 km from Windhoek on the airport road being only 5 minutes from the heart of Windhoek and is located on a pristine 6500 hectare game reserve. The 20 guest chalets consist of 14 twin chalets and 6 double chalets (all chalets have en suite bathrooms with showers, loos and basins). Besides our accommodation we also offer a host of activities including game drives, horse riding, guided or self guided walks and mountain biking.
Day 2 & 3 – Sossusvlei
This morning we leave the Windhoek area behind and travel to Sossusvlei. Once arrived at your destination you can relax and enjoy the lodge facilities.
We visit the world famous Sossusvlei sand dunes. Once you have entered the Namib-Naukluft National Park make your way along the paved road to Dune 45. Opportunity to climb Dune 45, the most photographed dune in the world. Continue on the paved road to the car park to meet the 4×4 transfer which will take you to Deadvlei and/or Sossusvlei. (Park entrance fees and 4×4 transfers included).
Sossusvlei is a large pan, set amid red sand dunes which tower above the valley floor. It contains the world’s highest, oldest and arguably most picturesque dunes. Guests will have the opportunity to climb Dune 45, the most photographed dune in the world.
Thereafter we visit Sesriem Canyon, a natural gorge carved millions of years ago by the once mighty Tsauchab River. Views from the top are breathtaking while walks through the canyon reveal distinct geographical layers which were laid down over aeons.
Other activities such as hot air ballooning, quad biking, hiking and stargazing can also be arranged in the area and are for guests own account.

Conveniently located within short walking distance of the ‘Mole’, our modern, uplifting and inviting hotel is the ideal base for your stay. The hotel consist of 54 rooms (44 twin rooms and 10 family rooms). The hotel is in close proximity to the beach and facilities include a breakfast room, lounge and bar.
Days 6 – Damaraland
This morning we leave Swakopmund behind and head further north along the coast, before we turn inland and to visit Burnt Mountain, Organ Pipes and Twyfelfontein (meaning doubtful fountain), a World Heritage Site as the rock engravings, left here by stone-age artists is regarded as one of the richest collections in Africa. We also visit the Petrified Forest. The trees of the Petrified Forest were uprooted some 200 million years ago and were swept along by rivers in flood, covered by sediments and then subsequently uncovered by erosion (all entrance fees for own account).
We arrive at our accommodation in the afternoon.

Day 7 – Etosha National Park
Travel from Khorixas to your accommodation outside Etosha National Park. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy optional activities, such as a half day open vehicle game drive inside Etosha National Park.

Day 8 – Etosha National Park
Today, guests travel from Etosha Safari Lodge to Namutoni Camp (in the Etosha National Park).
We leave early in the morning and enter the Etosha National Park through Anderson Gate (park fees included) and game drive our way through the park to Namutoni Camp.
In the afternoon, guests enjoy an open vehicle game drive (included).

Namutoni camp is situated on the eastern side of Etosha and derives its name from the old German fort around which it is built. The presence of the fort gives Namutoni more character than the other rest camps in Etosha. Namutoni is the closest to Fisher’s Pan . This is a renown wonderland of water birds in the wet season including breeding flamingos. The Fort overlooks the King Nehale waterhole. It is the hub of activity with two restaurants, a relaxation lounge, a bar, crafts boutique, curio shop, jewellers, and bookstore. An elevated decked walkway along the water-hole provides views of the surrounding scenery, wildlife, and spectacular sunsets.
Day 9 – Etosha National Park
After breakfast, guests will be transported back to Namutoni Camp where they will meet up with their tour guide and game drive their way to Namutoni gate where you they exit the park. From there, they will journey south towards Windhoek.
Once arrived at Erindi Private Game Reserve in the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to participate in any of the numerous activities available (for guests own account).
Activities such as open vehicle game drives, night drives, Bushman art walks, cheetah walks, rock climbing and San (Bushmen) Village trips can be enjoyed on site (for guests own account). Erindi Game Reserve is home to a few “CWI CWI” San people. Also known as the “Bushmen” these people live solely off the land and the Cwi Cwi families at Erindi still follow their disappearing traditions. Guests can visit their village and be part of their everyday cultures & traditions! However, as they are a nomadic culture, a visit is subject to their movement.

Day 10 – Windhoek
Travel from Erindi Game Reserve to Windhoek International Airport.
Depending on flight times, enjoy a morning activity and leave for Windhoek International Airport thereafter.
